Who we are

For decades, tenants across Zimbabwe have driven around suburbs looking for hand-painted “To Let” signs, paid agents fees as high as one full month’s rent, and been burned by fake listings and double deposits on WhatsApp. Landlords have been held hostage by agents who charge extortionate commissions and deliver little in return.

We thought that was wrong. So we built something better.

Find My Place is Zimbabwe’s first verified digital rental marketplace. We connect tenants with real, verified landlords across Harare and Zimbabwe — no agents, no fake listings, no wasted weekends. We are not a listings directory. We are not another WhatsApp group. We are a platform built specifically for the realities of the Zimbabwean rental market — mobile-first, EcoCash-compatible, fraud-resistant, and designed to work for everyone.

Our story

Born in Harare.
Built for Zimbabwe.

Find My Place was founded in Harare by someone who saw the problem firsthand. After watching friends and family waste weekends driving across the city chasing unreliable listings, paying agents who offered nothing more than a phone call, and losing deposits to landlords who never existed — we decided enough was enough.

We partnered with Bad Real Estate, one of Harare’s established property valuation and management companies, to build a platform with real credibility and real supply from day one. Every listing on Find My Place goes through a verification process. Every landlord is confirmed. Every property is real.

We launched with one belief: the rental market in Zimbabwe does not need to change in spite of technology — it needs technology built specifically for it.
